Do not take thought for your persons or your properties, but first and chiefly to care about the greatest improvement of the soul. I tell you that the virtue is not given by money, but that from virtue come money and every other good of man, public as well as private... The difficulty, my friends, is not in avoiding death, but in avoiding unrighteousness; for that runs faster than death.Socrates

~ FATHER, FRIEND, HERO ~

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Michael J. Hussey who was born in Somerville,Mass. on April 27, 1940 and passed away on November 29, 2006 at the age of 66. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

~

Your mass was beautiful. Gaelic of course. Everything green n white, from the flowers at the alter to Father Walsh's Irish Robe. He made mention of the fact that your soul flew over Ireland before you went home...and spoke in irish, the saying "Ce'ad mile fa'ite"..meaning "a hundred thousand welcomes."

WHEN I NEED YOU (by Leo Sayer)

Your song was played and kept in the hearts of those who knew what that meant to you all of your life. Your with your mother, father, brothers and sister now; and your first grandchild, Wayne has his pop now. You're at peace and with those whom you've missed so. We all miss you here with us everyday, your voice, smile, whistle, kindness, calming patience, and unconditional love. We can all learn & live by your example in your honor, and in all that's of God.
